ARLINGTON _ These thieves apparently didn’t have a library card.
Police appealed for help Tuesday to identify two young men who broke into the Arlington City Library on Nov. 22 and stole computer tablets from a locked closet.
Authorities released photographs of the two suspects on Tuesday taken from surveillance video cameras in the library, 1624 New York Ave. Police hope someone will recognize the two men.
The burglary occurred about 4 a.m. on Nov. 22.
Based on the photographs, the men are believed to be between the ages of 16 to 19-years-old, weighing about 130 to 155 pounds.
On the day of the burglary, one suspect had braces, dark framed glasses, wearing a black “Astros” cap, a red t-shirt and a black jacket that had pin stripes, white sleeves and white writing on the front.
The second suspect was wearing a turquoise blue hooded jacket, a black and red “Bulls” baseball cap, long black shorts and gray-blue high top tennish shoes.
