Raul Alvarez-Mijan, 62, offered a ride to a woman walking on East Lancaster Avenue in June 2010.
When she refused, he flashed a badge and told her he would take her to jail if she did not give him sex, authorities said.
She called 911 and police arrested Alvarez-Mijan who had a gun, a hand-held radio and a badge.
After the arrest, police investigated other police impersonation cases and linked Alvarez-Mijan to the sexual assault of another woman.
But his days of being a fake cop are over, now that he has been convicted of impersonating a police officer and sentenced to 90 years in prison. (Editor's note: Original post incorrectly stated 90 days in prison).

Headline reads 90 years, but article says 90 days - which did he get?
