Two people are dead and their elderly neighbor was in police custody Monday after an argument over dog feces led to gunfire early Monday in northeast Dallas.
Chung Kim, 75, was at a Dallas-area hospital late Monday where he was being treated for a medical condition unrelated to the shooting in which he is accused of killing Michelle Jackson and Jamie Stafford, both 31.
The victims were upstairs neighbors at the apartment complex where Kim lived, police said.
Investigators believe that the neighbors dumped their dog's excrement at the front door and on the patio of Kim's downstairs apartment, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
