Dallas man, 19, suspected of killing elderly woman

Mouda Bluitt Erskine, 72, of Dallas had reached out to James Ramsey Mitchell and the 19-year-old kid from the neighborhood relied on her, according to media reports.

But police believe that on Tuesday, Mitchell argued with Erskine over money.

A few days later, she was found dead in her home on Latimer Street. She appeared to have been hit in the head, police say.

Now Mitchell is in a Dallas County jail faced a capital murder charge. The young man who needed money now has to come up with $1 million to make bail.
