Sheila Loven, a former licensed counselor from Euless, was convicted Tuesday sexual assault for having an affair with a male client.
With that out of the way, the penalty phase began and jurors were given more testimony from another former client, who described sexual encounters with her.
"Loven said it would make me feel better," the woman said. But, she added, "It made me feel really dirty."
The woman started helping Loven around the office, but later, Loven asked the woman to submit false insurance claims, according to testimony.
She said Loven was to give her the insurance payout in exchange for helping at the office.
The woman testified that she parted ways with Loven because she was tired of the counselor's use of pot and cocaine.
