Eddie Routh, the Lancaster man accused of fatally shooting former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle and his friend at a gun range Saturday, told family members that he had "traded his soul" for a new pickup, according to a felony warrant.
The truck in question belonged to Kyle, who reportedly took Routh to an exclusive shooting range (shown here) near Glen Rose.
But there were other issues surrounding Routh, a former Marine, including threats to do harm to himself and others, and visits to psychiatric hospital.
