Man reportedly tied to tree, mutilated in Erath County, newspaper says

There are a lot of reports involving brutality these days, but this one unusual.

A man was found Monday somewhere in Erath County, bound to a tree and possibly castrated.

That's according to a report from the Stephenville Empire-Tribune.

Investigators, however, told the newspaper that they don't want to talk about the case because it's a "fluid situation."

We also called the sheriff's office, but had to leave a message.
