Mitch Mitchell, covering the trial of Sheila Loven, has reported via Twitter that the jury took just over an hour to sentence her to 10 years probation for having sex with one of her clients.
This followed earlier testimony by Loven who told jurors that she never made a pass at a woman she was counseling and never sent threatening or demeaning text messages to her clients.
She said she had a legitimate relationship with the husband of a couple she was counseling which, she added, was wrong.
"It's my fault that I'm sitting here today," Loven testified. "Not because it's the best thing for me. Because what I did was wrong, disgustingly and nauseatingly inappropriate."
Here's the latest update from Mitch.
