In January we reported how a Johnson County Jail inmate was accused of trying to hire a "hit man" to kill his estranged wife and her boyfriend.
It turns out the man he hired was Sheriff Bob Alford, posing as the hit man, in a sting operation to catch the man, who reportedly was making his intentions known in the jail.
The suspect, Tab Johnson, has now been indicted for solicitation of capital murder, according to the Cleburne Times-Review.
