"Three of our local riffraff up to no good" is how a Tulsa homicide detective described the 17-year-old suspects who were arrested Monday for the botched robbery that resulted in the death of truck driver Robert Horton of Arlington.
Horton, 53, was fatally shot early Saturday morning while delivering supplies to a pizza restaurant in Tulsa. He was a husband, father and grandfather.
On Monday, three suspects were custody: (from left) Damian Anderson, Jermaine Savory and Frankie Jackson.
"There really is no reason for Mr. Horton to be dead," said Sgt. Dave Walker, the homicide detective. "These guys chose to take something without working for it. They took a life instead, and now they’ll have to pay for it."
