A Colleyville Heritage High School counselor accused of having an improper relationship with a student was booked into the Denton County Jail on Wednesday.
Kerry Jones, 50, also a member of the Northwest ISD school board, was released a short time after being booked into jail, records show.
Jones, of Trophy Club, was indicted on four counts of improper relationship between an educator and student, according to a news release from the Trophy Club Police Department last week.
The jail records showed three counts against him, not four. No bail information was listed. The records noted "special circumstance" beside each count.
