Saginaw residents saw an uptick in police activity late Monday afternoon and early evening, as officers canvassed neighborhoods, hoping to get more clues in the death of 6-year-old Alanna Gallagher.
Her body was found a week ago, wrapped in a tarp, on a Saginaw street corner.
Here’s this afternoon’s update to the media from Officer Damon Ing, Saginaw police spokesman:
“I wanted to update everyone on the investigation of Alanna Gallagher. At this time you will notice an increase in police activity in both neighborhoods as we continue to talk with residents and canvas the area for additional clues.”
