At about 11 a.m., a man wearing an Atlanta Braves ball cap entered the store, pulled out a pistol and demanded jewelry.
No one was hurt, but the man got away with a “substantial amount of jewelry,” Officer Sharron Neal, police spokeswoman, said in a news release.
Fort Worth police believe he may be the same man who recently robbed a Zales store in Arlington. Tiara Richard, Arlington police spokeswoman, said the store 4101 S. Cooper St. was robbed at about 10 a.m. July 10.
The suspect is described as being Hispanic with light complexion, and about 25 years old. He had a pencil-thin mustache with goatee and stands about 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighs around 160 pounds.
On Friday he wore a dark long-sleeved shirt with white t-shirt underneath, dark pants, and tennis shoes with dark laces.
