A multimillion dollar sex-trafficking operation, that forced girls and women from Mexico into prostitution, has been dismantled, officials said Friday.
The suspects face several charges, including conspiracy to harbor illegal aliens, according to The Associated Press.
"Nowhere in the world, especially right here in Houston should any human being be trafficked for profit or used as a reusable commodity," said Stephen L. Morris of the FBI.
Authorities say some of the underage girls were between 14 and 17 years old.
