A Fort Worth tow-truck driver was hospitalized in stable condition Wednesday afternoon after an early-morning shooting by a customer who was mad that there wasn't room for him in the truck's cab, police said.
Police were called at 4:42 a.m. to a shooting in north Fort Worth in the 6800 block of the South Freeway service road.
Officers were told that three men wanted a wrecker service after having car problems, but when it arrived, arrangements were made for one man to ride in the wrecker’s cab, police said.
But the other two would be left and would not be allowed to sit in the car that was being towed, police said.
Shane Crowson, 26, (shown here) reportedly got mad and pulled out a gun.
