An Irving woman is charged with intoxication manslaughter and other charges after two of her children were killed and two others hurt when the vehicle she was driving slammed into two parked cars.
Irving police say 30-year-old Crystal Suniga was taken to a Dallas hospital for treatment when she was hurt in the Saturday night crash. Police spokesman James McLellan said her blood alcohol was 0.18, more than twice the legal limit, according to The Associated Press.
Two of her sons, Angel Reyes, 14, and Ricardo Hernandez, 10, were dead at the scene. A 16-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter were hurt.
Suniga is held without bond on two counts of intoxication manslaughter, two counts of injury to a child and one count of intoxication assault.
