Keller public school officials have warned parents about a possible attempted abduction Tuesday of a student who attends Caprock Elementary School.
According to a letter sent home to parents, a parent reported that her son was approached by stranger while walking home from school. The incident reportedly happened near the intersection of Hollow Valley Drive and Timberland Boulevard.
“The man slowed down and told the child that his mom was sick and that he should get in the car with him,” the letter stated. “The child ran from the car and the car did not follow him.”
The man was described as a white male in his 20s who drove a black or blue four-door car.
Police were notified, according to the letter. It also stated that parents with questions can call school officials 817-744-3050.
