Burned human remains found in East Texas are those of a Parker County man, and the rest of his body may have been recovered near Shreveport, La., according to a report from Staff writer Domingo Ramirez Jr.
No official identification has been released as of early Wednesday afternoon.
However, the coroner in Caddo Parrish, Louisiana, tentatively identified the victim’s face using a photograph detectives in Smith County, Texas forwarded Tuesday.
The name will be released after identification is confirmed with dental records and DNA, Smith County Sheriff Larry Smith said.
“That victim has not returned to his residence in Parker County nor has he returned to work since this string of events occurred,” Smith said.
This is a developing story.
