U.S. Border Patrol agents involved in the seizure of a half a ton of marijuana Saturday fired shots after they were fired upon while chasing a truck along the Rio Grande, the Associated Press reported.
No agents were injured, the AP reported, and it's not clear if the agents' bullets hit anyone on the Mexican side of the border.
Some of the agents were in boats and others in vehicles when they came under fire near the city of Mission, Texas, the AP reported.
