Police: Mom gave bullied son BB gun, knife to take to school

Police in Hartford, Conn., say a woman's response to her son being bullied was to send him to school with a BB gun and a folding knife.

She's facing charges of risk of injury to a minor, the Associated Press reported. The boy now faces a suspension or even expulsion for having the weapons in his backpack, the AP reported.
