Accused campus attacker wanted to cut off people's faces

A couple days ago we learned that Dylan Quick, accused in the mass attack earlier this week at a Houston-area college campus, had fantasized about carrying out the crime.

Well now investigators have added these to his list of fantasies: cannibalism and necrophilia.

The 20-year-old student also told investigators that he fantasized about cutting off people’s faces and wearing them as masks.

Man was alive when cut open by French cannibal, ME says

A medical examiner told a court in France that Thierry Baudry was still alive when his cellmate, Nicolas Cocaign, cut into his body, and removed a piece of his lung before eating it.

Cocaign, dubbed France's Hannibal Lecter, is on trial for killing Baudry in 2007. Cocaign, who admitting killing and eating Baudry, told the court he flew into an uncontrollable rage after Baudry gave him a "dirty look" after Cocaign told Baudry that he should wash his hands after using the toilet, Sky News reported.

Trial begins of alleged cannibal who killed, ate his cellmate

A sensational trial has begun in France where a man is accused of killing his cellmate and eating parts of his body.

Nicolas Cocaign admitted in court Monday that he killed the man and then cut open his chest and removed part of a lung before eating it.  He mistakenly ate the lung, intending to remove the man's heart so that he could take his soul, the BBC reported.

Cocaign faces life in prison if he's convicted of murder in the horrible killing of Therry Baudry, the BBC reported.

Cannibal now says he's ready for a love life

After spending a lengthy stint in prison for digging up an old woman's body for a "cheap and tasty meal," an Indonesian cannibal named Sumanto now says he's ready to find love.

Here's how Sumanto put it: "What is love? How can I describe it when I've never experienced it, never tasted it?"

Murderer talks of cannibalism in requesting a new trial

Strange stuff in a Maryland court document -- talk of cannibalism in the 2002 murder of a tourist couple at a Maryland resort.

The weird claim was in a document denying a new trial for Erika E. Sifrit, 31, who, along with her husband, were convicted of killing Joshua Ford and Martha "Genie" Crutchley, both of Virginia, after the couples had spent time together in a hot tub.

The remains of the victims were found nine days later in a landfill.

Sifrit requested a new trial saying she wasn't properly defended in her trial. In a court document related to that request, Sifrit said that her husband had suggested they cook and eat one of the victim's legs, but that she had rejected that idea.

Police: Cannibal brothers killed and ate older sibling

We've heard of sibling rivalry, but sibling cannibalism?

Two men in the Russian city of Perm have admitted to police that they killed their older brother and ate parts of his body, which had been kept for months in a refrigerator.

Why, you'd likely ask?

One of the brother's told police he had fought his older brother and killed him because of grudge over a 10-year prison sentence. The older sibling had reported his brother's role in a murder to police, it seems.

Police say they became suspicious when the brother identified as Rafis was reported missing and then they found his skeleton buried in the garden. The rest of him was in the fridge.

Officials said the brothers had decided to "eat the evidence" so that they wouldn't have to go back to jail.

Judge: Man accused of beheading, eating bus rider 'not responsible'

You'll probably recall the horrific beheading and cannibalization of a Canadian bus passenger last July.

On Thursday, a judge in Winnipeg, Manitoba, ruled that the man accused of the grotesque crime is not criminal responsible for his action because of mental illness.

Chinese immigrant Vince Li, left, will get mental health treatment instead of prison.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys both said that Li was mentally ill with schizophrenia. He apparently believed that God wanted him to kill fellow passenger Tim McLean because McLean was a force of evil.

McLean's family reportedly is not happy with the decision, believing it allows Li to get away with murder.

McLean was repeatedly stabbed on the passenger bus, dismembered and then partially eaten in front of horrified passengers who had fled the bus and blocked its door until police arrived.

Tribesmen on the lam after killing and eating farmer, network reports

Five members of the Kulina tribe of the Brazilian Amazon are on the run, accused of killing, butchering and eating a farmer in what has been called a cannibalistic ritual, CNN is reporting.

The village chief said members of the tribe killed the 19-year-old farmer last week. The military and civil police are prohibited from entering the tribe's lands, but several members fled fearing prosecution, CNN reported. Authorities say they're not sure how man members of the tribe took place in the ritual.

The network reported that the farmer's family was concerned for him, entered the tribe's domain and found his body quartered and his skull hanging on a tree.

Teens charged with killing, cannibalizing 11th-grade girl

Some of the stuff that moves across the wires is really sick.

Take this for example:

Two teenage men in St. Petersburg, Russia, are accused of killing and dismembering a 16-year-old girl and then eating pieces of her body.

According to prosecutors, the two men are a butcher and a florist --- yes a butcher.

Prosecutors say the victim was an 11th-grader who disappeared Jan. 19 on her way to school, who they believe was killed that night. Parts of her body were discovered in plastic bags scattered around the city. Police believe the men ate some of her internal organs.
