Update: The girl was found safe early Wednesday.
Garland police late Tuesday were looking for a 2-year-old girl. They believed she was with her baby sitter, but possibly in danger.
NBCdfw reported that Maliyah Vergenz left home with her babysitter Patricia Garcia earlier Tuesday, but they believe the woman is distraught over the recent loss of a pregnancy and is now refusing to return home with the little girl.
