Canadian gets 25 years for operating brothel for pedophiles

A federal judge in New Jersey has sentenced a Canadian man to 25 years in prison for running a brothel for pedophiles in Thailand.

John Wrenshall pleaded guilty in May to conspiring to engage in sex tourism and to the production and distribution of child pornography. Children as young as 4 were depicted, the Associated Press reported.

Ex-NBA All Star charged with child sex trafficking

Another former NBA All-Star is in the news for the wrong reasons.

Authorities in San Antonio have charged ex-All Star Alvin Robertson with trafficking an underage child for purposes of sex, forcing a sexual performance by a child, and sexual assault.

Robertson, 47, who has not been arrested, was named Friday in an arrest warrant.

The charges allege that he was part of a ring that allegedly kidnapped a 14-year-old girm from San Antonio and then forced her to have sex with clients. Allegedly, she was forced to dance at a Corpus Christi strip club, as well, the Associated Press reported.
