We read daily about a criminal plot that has been thwarted by ever-vigilant police.
But rarely is it like this one -- a plot by a group of third-grade students to kill their teacher. Police say the plot at Center Elementary School in Waycross, Ga., was hatched by a female student who had been disciplined by the teacher.
Police said 11 of the 12 special education students in the class were involved and they had gathered a broken steak knife, duct tape and a pair of handcuffs to accomplish their goal.
Three of those students have been identified as ringleaders. They likely will face prosecution under an unruly charge, because of their age, Police Chief Tony Tanner told Fox News.
