Pot brownies also laced with LSD, Trophy Club chief says

More tests on marijuana-laced brownies that were confiscated Monday at a Trophy Club high school showed that they also contained LSD, police said Wednesday.

One of the brownies was eaten by a 17-year-old student, who passed out and had to be taken to the hospital. A 15-year-old classmate is accused of providing the brownie, but now could face a more severe charge.

"It could go from a delivery of marijuana to possession of a controlled substance," said Trophy Club police commander Lee Delk.

Pot brownies sicken Trophy Club student

A 15-year-old student at Byron Nelson High School faces drug charges after authorities say he gave a marijuana-laced brownie to a classmate, a 17-year-old girl, who became unconscious and had to be rushed to a hospital, Trophy Club police said Tuesday.

The boy faces a charge of delinquent conduct/delivery of marijuana, Trophy Club police commander Lee Delk said on Tuesday.

"We don't get many calls like that," Delk said.
