The U.S. Marshals Service arrested a Texas DPS 10 Most Wanted fugitive Friday who had outstanding warrants here and South Dakota, Minnesota, Indiana and Texas. Wanted by the Texas Department of
Public Safety for parole violation from a forgery offense, Paul Joseph Borrenson,57, had been “identified as a member of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas and was considered to be armed and dangerous.” Borrenson was nabbed in the Eastern District of California after receiving a tip by the Fresno Rescue Mission that someone had seen a person matching Borrenson’s description. Officers made contact with the subject, who initially provided a different name. Further investigation identified him as the fugitive.
His crimes include: "Assault, Grand Larceny, Auto Theft, Forgery, Fraud, Possess Stolen Property, Obstruct Police, Fleeing Officer, False Report/Police, Fugitive from Justice, Flight/Avoid Prosecution, Commercial Sex Offenses, Drug Offenses, and DUI," according to DPS.
No incidents were reported in his capture. A reward of up to $7,500 was paid, according to the DPS website.
