Document obtained by the Star-Telegram indicate an officer fired from the Fort Worth Police Department may have tried to use her status to get information to two federal inmates.
The officer, Lucreshia Carey, was fired Tuesday, according to Lt. Paul Henderson, a police spokesman.
The document details allegations against Carey resulting from an internal affairs investigation, and says Fort Worth police were told by federal authorities that Carey may face federal charges.

Another Fort Worth officer was also fired this week. He was fired after police completed an internal investigation into a DWI arrest near Lake Worth.
The officer, who at one point was a sergeant in the department, was arrested in May and has been on restricted duty since the incident, Henderson said.
