Has the term "the old ball and chain" been redefined in the Sooner State?
A judge there had a busy day last week when he sentenced an Oklahoma City man to four years in federal prison on a firearm charge - then minutes later performed a marriage ceremony to wed the new inmate and his longtime girlfriend.
The happy couple kissed and then federal authorities whisked the man away.
His lawyer said the man helped to raise his bride's two sons and he didn't want to lose contact with them while he was serving time.
