National Guard recruiter from Lubbock arrested in sex sting

A National Guard recruiter from Lubbock sent nude pictures of himself to what he thought was a 15-year-old girl, then arrived at a New Mexico house with a box of condoms expecting a rendezvous with her, a Clovis news site reports. Instead, he was met by deputies, and now he faces a charge of child solicitation by electronic device.

KRLD radio now reports that police have determined that the photo was not that of an underage girl, but is actually of an adult woman -- so it's not child porn, but we'll bet he's still in trouble.

Teacher finds girl's nude photos on 12-year-old boy's phone

Radio station KRLD is reporting that Dallas police are trying to identify a young girl whose nude images were discovered on a 12-year-old boy's cell phone by one of his teachers.

According to the station, students at Wallace Elementary in Lake Highlands were taking a test Wednesday when a boy's cell phone rang. 

The teacher picked the phone up and found the nude photos and she alerted school officials, the station reported.

The station quoted Dallas Police Sr. Cpl. Kevin Janse as saying police didn't know if it was a case of "sexting," because they still haven't figured out who took the photos, or how old the girl is. "Sexting" is when someone sends an erotic message or photo over their cell phone.

The station said it's uncertain if any charges might be filed against the boy.
