Police found bloody clothing and a bloody knife inside the home of a 21-year-old man accused in the fatal stabbing of a TCU student last week, a search warrant affidavit shows.
Deanna Boyd reports that the search warrant affidavit was written by police seeking a DNA sample from the suspect, David Hidalgo.
Detective J.T. Rhoden wrote in the affidavit that he believed DNA testing on the knife and clothing will revealed a mixture of Hidalgo’s DNA profile, as well as that of Stewart Trese, the TCU senior he is accused of killing.
