"I know what this is about," a truck driver told Parker County deputies who just pulled him over Monday in Azle.
Fred Fuentes, 47, of Fort Worth was behind the wheel of a 2006 tractor-trailer rig.
Deputies asked him what he was talking about.
"Why you stopped me," replied Fuentes.
The deputies decided to play. Ok, why the stop?
"Because the truck is stolen," Fuentes said.
Actually, it was because of a non-working headlamp, but deputies were eager to know more about the stolen truck.
And that's how Fuentes landed in the Parker County Jail.
