The fires late Monday at homes under construction in far north Fort Worth look suspicious to investigators because no utilities were hooked up yet, and some young men were seen running from the area.
As for battling the blazes, circumstances were stacked against firefighters; raw building materials provided lots of fuel, and a stiff wind fanned the flames.
