Police in Fort Worth believe a man impersonating a Terminix employee has been preying on elderly citizens by getting access to their homes and stealing valuables.
A suspect is in custody, but detectives need more information from victims to help close the case.

The Fort Worth Police Department is asking for all of our media partners to help us spread a very important and serious message.
The Fort Worth Police Department received several calls from citizens reporting that they had been a victim of the Terminix Impersonator scam. The suspect posed as a Terminix employee to gain entry into homes and steal valuables. He has targeted mostly elderly victims.
In the interest of public safety, we ask Fort Worth residents who may have been victims of this crime to complete an offense report with the F.W.P.D. at 817-335-4222. Please be sure to tell the call taker to relate this to the ‘Terminix Imposter’ and ‘West Criminal Investigations Unit’.
The Fort Worth Police Department has identified a suspect who has been arrested but more of the investigative process must take place before we are able to release his information. At this point we are still moving forward with each criminal investigation on a case by case basis.
