Ca. mom arrested after cheering on teenage son in brawl

A California mother has been arrested after she allegedly incited a fight between her son and another teenage boy in her front yard and then posting a video of the fight on YouTube.

CBS 13 Sacramento reports that Jennifer Zuniga, 33, can be heard in the video goading her son to fight as the two boys fought in front of her home.

Bystanders stood by and watched while some even cheered them on until a Good Samaritan broke up the fight before anyone was seriously hurt.

Investigators were able to determine the identity of the teens through the video.

Zuniga now faces a charge of child endangerment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Video: DWI suspect slammed against jail wall and floor

Fort Worth City Council is expected today to consider a settlement offer in the case of a man shown in a jailhouse video being slammed against a wall and then having his head smashed against the floor.

Staff writer Mitch Mitchell reports that Carey Cass Hudson's lawsuit against two officers and the city of Fort Worth was dismissed Friday in federal court.

Video: Speeding car disintegrates when it hits bridge

Here's a pretty amazing dash cam video from Ohio that shows a speeding 1985 Pontiac Firebird going airborne and slamming into a bridge support where it literally disintegrates.

The Associated Press reported that the driver survived.

Video: Bank robbery suspect eats evidence, police say

Here's a video from CNN that's pretty amusing. Police say it shows a suspect in a bank robbery eating evidence -- the note he allegedly used in the bank robbery -- while officers frisk him on the hood of a patrol car. Without the note, police say, they'll show the video as evidence.

Dash-cam video: 5 officers fired for beating unconscious man

Five police officers in Birmingham, Ala., have been fired after they were shown in a dash-cam video beating an unconscious man with their fists, feet and a billy club following a high-speed chase.

The incident took place in January 2008, and the man, Anthony Warren, was unaware he'd been beaten until the tape surfaced in March of this year. Warren was knocked unconscious after his vehicle rolled and he was ejected.

City officials were contacted about it two months ago and they, too, were unaware of the beating or the tape.

The police chief called the beating "shameful."

Startling video shows teen's execution-style slaying

The New York Post has a story today about the chilling, execution-style killing of a troubled teenager that was captured on surveillance video.

The 17-year-old victim -- who was trying to get away from the gang lifestyle -- was walking away from an argument when another man comes up behind him and fatally shoots him in the head.

Video: Amazing images of an attack on Dutch royal family

There's amazing video available on CNN of an attempted attack on the Dutch royal family. The video shows a man's careening car crash near a bus carrying the royals.

Four people were killed and 13 injured in the incident, police said. The incident occurred in the Dutch city of Apeldoorn.

The driver was badly injured and hospitalized. He's been charged with trying to attack the royal family members.

Video: Live webcam helps homeowner thwart burglars

There's an interesting video at The Smoking Gun Web site today that shows a home burglary recorded live on a Web cam.

The homeowner had installed the Web cam after a previous burglary. She saw what was happening while at her office and called 911. Officers arrived on the and arrested the two men in her home and two others in a nearby home.

CNN has a pretty impressive video that shows a woman rescuing two small children from her SUV when it burst into flames after a speeding motorcyclist collided with her vehicle. You can watch it here.

Video shows violent arrest of men by police officers

There is some pretty dramatic television news video from a police stop in Philadelphia in which police officers can be seen kicking and punching three men.

The officers were responding Monday to the report of a shooting nearby and the video by television station WTFX shows three police cars stopping the car. The events took place two days after a Philadelphia police was shot to death responding to a bank robbery.

"On the surface it certainly does not look good in terms of the amount of force that was used," Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey said. "But we don't want to rush to judgment."
