Jobs on display at Fort Worth Chamber's Job Links

Dropped in today at the Fort Worth Chamber’s Job Links Excelerator, a private monthly meetup between employers that have openings and organizations like schools and nonprofits that have large candidate pools.

The big applause came during the presentation from Pearl Hospitality, a Fort Worth hotelier that owns the Embassy Suites downtown and Holiday Inn Express at Henderson and Lancaster. Aside from having openings – chief building engineer, assistant engineer, and valet supervisor in Fort Worth – an HR development strategist from Pearl broke the room at the Worthington hotel up when she laid out some of Pearl’s employee-friendly workplace practices, including two-week, all-expenses-paid sabbaticals for salaried workers who reach five years of employment. The sabbaticals don’t have to have anything to do with the hospitality industry, but they must nurture “mind, body and spirit.”
