Walmart seeks 300 employees for new store in Haslet

Walmart has opened a hiring center at 1401 N. Saginaw Blvd. in Saginaw to take aplications for 300 jobs at a new supercenter that will open in Haslet this fall.

The company said applications will be accepted from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturdays. You can also apply online at http://careers.walmart.com.

An if you're a military veteran who was honorably discharged in the past 12 months, you're a lock. Walmart’s Veterans Welcome Home Commitment will offer a job to any such qualified veteran. You can learn more about that at http://walmartcareerswithamission.com.

Most of those who are hired will begin work in August to prepare the store for its grand opening. The supercenter is being built along U.S. 287 just west of town.
