Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington taking 2014 season job applications

It’s not too soon about thinking about a job at Six Flags Over Texas.

The Arlington theme park said it will hire about 1,000 employees for the 2014 season and will begin doing so at job fairs Saturday, Jan. 11 and Sunday, Jan. 12 and again Saturday, Jan. 18 and Sunday, Jan. 19.

There are a variety of job opportunities available for those interested in learning more about the theme park and hospitality industry including: games, rides, retail, food services, admissions, entertainment, guest relations, marketing research and security, the park said. 

Interested applicants should first go online to sixflagsjobs.com and complete an online application. Interviews are scheduled by appointment for eligible candidates. Interviews begin at 10 a.m. 

Pay starts at $7.25 to $9 an hour. Training for begins in February. The park opens Saturday, March 1.
