Former President George W. Bush has arrived along with former First Lady Laura Bush for today's
announcement about a community service project during the Super Bowl in Arlington in two 2011. (Reporter Traci Shurley promises that's him at the podium.)
Organizers say the service learning program is "the most distinctive education program ever conceived by a host committee" and will involve thousands.
Bush said the project will leave Texas "more compassionate and more hopeful." Details to come soon.

Funny, but there are not too many comments about this. I seem to recall it was the issue of the hour for the Republicans. I guess that they've gone on to blasting ACORN as their latest distraction from the serious issues like health care reform.
