At Cornerstone Baptist Church in Arlington, about 100 people had gathered by 10:45 a.m. today in the sanctuary to watch President Obama’s speech to school children on two large screens.
Sheila Martinez was “shocked” to find out that campuses in Arlington wouldn’t be showing the speech today. She and her husband, Gaspar Martinez, brought their son Julien, 12, to the church.
“We wanted him to hear the speech because when we were in school, we heard [President] Reagan speak to us and this is no different. This is the president of the United States,” Martinez said.
Martinez and another Arlington parent said they were disappointed to learn about school district’s plan to bus some fifth-graders to a Super Bowl-related event at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington later this month where former president George W. Bush will speak.
“Why is it any different?” Martinez said. “They are both presidents of the United States.”

Funny how those people want to protect their children from "indoctrination" by indoctrinating them to hate.
