The hundreds of families seeking to get into Westlake Academy charter school will try again this year in the school's annual admissions lottery for open spots. Since the school is run by the town of Westlake, families who live there qualify for automatic admission.
Application forms are posted on the school's Web site and the deadline is Jan. 31. The lotto is scheduled for Feb. 24 at the school, 2600 Ottinger Road, Westlake. The time has not yet been set.

Curious, but it sounds like not a single child from the lottery has been enrolled in Westlake for the upcoming school year. What happened to the slots they said they had or have they decided to no longer let students outside of Westlake enroll?
