UTA students lined up for popcorn and politics Monday night. The campus held a second debate watch this election season. The event was part research since polling data will be used to see how debates affect potential voters.
As they arrived, students were surveyed about why they showed up to the debate watch.
Here's early poll results for the quesion: "What made you attend tonight?"
Love politics, wouldn't miss: 47 percent
Interest in understanding more about the candidates: 27 percent
Extra credit: 20 percent
Haven't paid attention at all at this point: 7 percent
