Already in the Thanksgiving spirit? Three Mansfield schools located a few blocks apart in far southwest Arlington are kicking off a food collection campaign today that will run through Friday.
Cross Timbers Intermediate School, Carol Holt Elementary School and T.A. Howard Middle School are teaming up for their first Stuff the Bus food drive. Nonperishable items collected will be placed on a district school bus with hopes of filling it by the end of the week.
Parents, faculty members, staffers and students are encouraged to participate, and the community is invited to contribute, as well. The items collected will be distributed to food pantries in the Mansfield Common Ground Network, a community partner of the school district's.
