Alumni from Trimble Tech High School in Fort Worth are pushing for authorities to name the campus auditorium after a former principal.
The Green B. Trimble Tech Alumni Association wants the auditorium to bear the name of Paul M. Galvan, a former teacher, coach and district administrator. The move is to recognize Galvan's "long term commitment to high standards and quality education for all students," Rev. Kyev P. Tatum, Sr., president of the Trimble Tech Alumni Association. (R: Paul Galvan at a 2004 dedication/ST: Jessica Kourkounis)
"Mr. Galvan has been responsible for the success of many students, faculty and staff within the Fort Worth Independent School District and beyond," said Tatum, a member of the class of 1984.
Contact the staff at the Brilliant Bulldog Center in the Alumni Room 111 at 817-815-2575 to participate.
