Iok-Hou Pang, PhD, has been named Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the UNT Health Science Center, according to a news release.
He joined UNTHSC in August 2012 as a professor of pharmaceutical science in the new College of Pharmacy. He served as director of glaucoma research at Alcon Research, LTD, from 2008 until 2012. He was an adjunct faculty member at UNTHSC from 1998-2012. The new College of Pharmacy admits its first class in the fall of 2013.
