The Fort Worth Stock Show made it official this morning -- they hit 1 million visitors on Thursday.
The attendance record for the 23-day show was shattered this year, blessed by spring-like weather on many days and a complete absence of wintry precipitation.
The previous record, set in 2006, was 955,800.
As of the close of Thursday, the Stock Show has drawn 1,035,500 people. Nearly 53,000 came onto the grounds of the Will Rogers Memorial Center on Thursday. At this point, with two days left, the show is heading fast for 1.1 million.
