Stars from the Tyler Perry comedy "Meet the Browns" were in the house for the Cowboys of Color Rodeo.
David and Tamela Mann, who live in Cedar Hill, munched on corny dogs and nachos while cheering for barrel racing and tie-down roping.
When David Mann ventured from his seat to the concession stand, he was stopped repeatedly by fans asking to take photos with him.
The couple, married 23 years, said they are working on a new television show called "Hanging with the Manns." They recently filmed an episode with a Western theme at a Grapevine ranch in which they had to dress up a goat. Then, David Mann prepared homemade chili and Tamela Mann made an apple crisp.
Both grew up in Fort Worth -- he's a 1985 graduate of O.D. Wyatt High and she's a 1984 Polytechnic High grad -- and enjoy the rodeo.
"My favorite part is bull riding," Tamela Mann said in a brief interview in the stands. "Why? Because it excites me."
Her husband teased: "I say it's because she's married to a bull."
