Charlie vents about merging, cameras & tolls

Tx170 Here's an e-mail from Keller resident Charlie. Does anyone else know something about these topics? At Charlie's request, we've added a category for Texas 170 in the Alliance area.Bigpurplefrog

I'd love to complain about folk's inability to merge correctly, proposed Westlake red light cameras and the prospect of building a tollway, but I have no place to post it!  It'll get me a mug more quickly as well! Thanks, Charlie (thebigpurplefrog) Keller, TX

Charlie

Gordon, are you going to make a "TX 170" category?

Gordon

Sure thing. I'll make a 170 category right now. Gimme 5 minutes ...

Ann

Hey, Charlie, if you want some real excitement try going west on 170 at about 6:15 am. You would think you are at Texas Motor Speedway. If you don't get out of the way (even if you are going 65mph) you will get pushed out of the way.

Gordon

Hi Ann: Just trying to remember: At one point, wasn't there a notorious speed trap on 170 in Westlake?

Charlie

Ann: People drive real dumb up and down that road every day. There is always some goof that doesn't get the various lanes that merge or turn into left or right turn only or whatever.
That road is goofy. They need to hurry and turn it into a nice, wide toll road.
