A 377 update from a reader who lives in Keller:
Keller city engineer, Keith Fisher recently gave a progress report on the Highway 377
construction. Mr. Fisher stated that the project manager has
a target date of April 1st for opening all southbound lanes
that are currently under construction. The light that has been
installed at the Johnson Road intersection should be
operational by this time also.
A new intersection will be established at Mt.Gilead Road and
the new Katy Road rail crossing. The current plan for the old
rail crossing at Caylor Road is to re-establish the rail
crossing providing access to Katy Road. A short term
completion date for the Mt. Gilead Road and Caylor Road
projects has not been released. Once completed there will be
stop lights at Mt. Gilead, Johnson, Keller-Hicks and Golden
Triangle. Mr. Fisher expects these lights to be set on a
timing pattern to allow for a smooth flow of traffic, similar to
the lights along Keller Parkway.

This is going to be fantastic! I can't wait for the lanes to open up. We have been circumnavigating the globe to get around this construction.
