Watch for slow traffic on E Loop 820

Southbound East Loop 820 will be closed 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at U.S. 287 in southeast Fort Worth for bridge repair.

Take another route if you can, because area traffic will be heavy, Texas Department of Transportation officials warn.

Southbound drivers will be detoured briefly to northbound U.S.287, where a U-turn will be available at Village Creek Road back to Loop 820.

Northbound U.S. 287 traffic also will be detoured to northbound Loop 820, where a U-turn will be available at Berry Street.

In Texas you are issued two license plates and you must have both on your vehicle. Sorry you don't think it looks good, but that's the law, and I wish every person who didn't display both plates or display them correctly would be issued citations.
