Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood is in Fort Worth today to speak at Congressman Michael Burgess' seventh annual North Texas Transportation Summit. Some of the issues that may come up this morning including the Tower 55 freight train gridlock in Fort Worth, and a proposed new streetcar system. I'll keep tabs on the hub-bub from the summit today and post updates here, as warranted.
The secretary's stay supposedly will be brief, as he's expected to hit Dallas later this morning to meet with Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson.
Oh, and if we're lucky maybe we'll get a dose of talk about the prospects for high-speed rail in Texas, too ...
-- Gordon.

Most, however, insist that you do not list your contact information, so you'll need a user name that is different from your business name, and you won't be able to list phone, e-mail or website address.
